At the heart of this approach is pyrolysis, a process that converts municipal waste and plastics into usable fuel. Unlike traditional incineration, our method is cleaner, more efficient, and capable of producing reliable power when paired with our ReGenX hybrid generator platform. Around this, we layer solar canopies and vertical-axis wind turbines, providing additional renewable input and helping offset the operating cost of waste processing.
Stability and scalability come from our proprietary battery platform, the PowerCap. Built for industrial conditions, these systems smooth out fluctuations, store surplus renewable energy, and ensure that power is available around the clock. This makes it possible for hospitals, schools, factories, and local governments to run entirely on clean power, even when the grid fails.
But innovation at ReNu is not only technical. It is also about replicability. Every project we build is designed to be a blueprint—something that can be deployed again in other municipalities, creating national-scale impact without starting from scratch. This is why we emphasize modular construction, pre-engineered designs, and systems that can be serviced locally.

The Mangarap Project is one of the most ambitious national initiatives ever undertaken in the Philippines—an effort that will span decades, touch millions of lives, and prove that sustainable development can happen at scale. Led with government support and coordinated by ReNu Energy, this project is a masterplan of social and infrastructure outcomes that extends far beyond energy into housing, healthcare, agriculture, and industry.
The concept is simple but powerful: create fully off-grid, self-sustaining communities across the archipelago. Each Mangarap site will include a 360-lot housing subdivision built with renewable energy integration, a Hive Medical Centre offering world-class healthcare access, an H2Organic aquaponics facility producing food for both local use and export, a state-of-the-art waste management and pyrolysis plant, and an industrial eco-park designed for clean manufacturing and trade.
Every one of these facilities will be powered by renewable and circular systems. Solar-wrapped housing, vertical wind turbines, and integrated waste-to-energy systems will supply electricity. Pyrolysis plants will turn plastics and waste into usable fuel. Battery storage will ensure power resilience even during typhoons. By removing dependence on fragile grid infrastructure, each project site will be an example of true sovereignty: energy, food, water, and healthcare delivered independently of centralized systems.
The first site at Bamban, Tarlac, serves as the pilot. From there, a national rollout is planned, with 20 or more sites distributed across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. This is not just a development project; it is a generational movement, backed by international funding, designed to provide mass outcomes—housing for thousands, medical access for remote provinces, and jobs in manufacturing and agriculture.
By replacing traditional models with off-grid, circular ecosystems, the Mangarap Project represents a turning point for the Philippines. It is more than infrastructure—it is a legacy initiative, proving that sustainability, sovereignty, and social progress can be achieved hand-in-hand, for millions of Filipinos.

Each Sablayan facility combines solar PV, vertical-axis wind turbines, and advanced PowerCap storage, delivering consistent clean energy at ₱13.75/kWh, fully replacing diesel generation.
